Eligible media include watercolor, soft pastels, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, pen & ink, gouache, acrylic, and hand-pulled prints. All work must be original and on paper. Juror of Selection![]() Ng Woon Lam (黄运南) is a Singaporean watercolor artist, educator, and Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University School of Art, Design and Media. He holds an MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art and is a Signature Member of both the American Watercolor Society (AWS) and the National Watercolor Society (NWS). Internationally recognized for his contributions to watercolor painting, Ng received the prestigious AWS Bronze Medal of Honor twice, at the 142nd and 147th Annual International Juried Exhibitions, and was awarded the AWS Dolphin Fellowship in 2014 for sustained excellence in watercolor practice. He has received over 50 national and international awards, exhibited widely including at the Florence Biennale, and has been featured in leading art publications. Influenced by Singapore watercolor master Gog Sing Hooi, his work combines expressive Chinese calligraphic brushwork with contemporary watercolor techniques, guided by the philosophy of Taiji (太极) to explore balance, harmony, and movement. Juror of Awards![]() Born and raised in Rochelle, Illinois, Kenneth Call went on to graduate from the American Academy of Art in 1980 with an Associates Degree in Illustration and Watercolor. He has worked as a freelance artist nationally for many years. Ken spent 1993 and 1994 studying and painting in Paris, France. He is now living in Northbrook Illinois with his wife and two children. After beginning his career as a studio artist, he soon branched out on his own, beginning a very successful freelance career, which to date has led to the creation of over 500 illustrations for books, magazines, art publishers, advertising agencies and corporations. Ken in the last few years has made the transition to fine art and portraiture. Many of his originals are hanging in galleries and homes across the country. Several awards have led to Signature status in the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Missouri Watercolor Society and Transparent Watercolor Society Master along with being a Master Signature member with the Illinois Watercolor Society. | Calendar
Catalog DonationOur society publishes a full-color catalog of the Annual International Exhbition that is sent to all participants and members of our society.
